Black Bear Diner – “Feels Like Home” Campaign

I contributed to the concepting and creative execution for this integrated campaign, helping bring the warm, cozy Black Bear Diner experience to life across digital video, social, and in-diner materials.

Challenge
After rapid expansion, Black Bear Diner wanted to grow beyond its successful breakfast business and increase dinner traffic. They needed an integrated campaign that would capture the brand’s homey, welcoming spirit while reminding guests that everything they love about breakfast is waiting for them at dinner, too.

Insight
More than just a diner, Black Bear Diner feels like a mountain lodge getaway — with bear-sized portions, cozy interiors, and a staff that treats guests like family. Guests come for hearty comfort food but leave with the feeling of home.

Creative Solution
We developed the “Black Bear Diner Feels Like Home” campaign, showing friends and families sharing generous meals in warm, cabin-inspired settings.
Digital Video – Advanced TV, pre-roll, and social videos featured original sonic branding from Luminous Sound, packaging the cozy, nostalgic emotion into a memorable soundtrack.
In-Diner Touchpoints – Table tents, placemats, and internal messaging encouraged breakfast guests to come back for dinner.
Digital & Social – Website, social media, and email campaigns reinforced the message and showcased the bear-sized portions and comforting environment that make Black Bear Diner a destination all day long.

By leaning into the emotional side of dining out — warmth, comfort, and connection — the campaign helped position Black Bear Diner as a go-to spot beyond just breakfast.
